CAC has developed its Cathletes™ chapter program for high schools across the country, including diocesan-wide programs.  The Cathletes™ curriculum is based on Catholic sports principles and was designed by CAC, with the support of athletes and coaches, in response to the request from bishops and school administrators across the country seeking an authentic Catholic sports program. Cathletes™ chapters regularly perform service projects and have opportunities to interact with CAC professional athletes and coaches.

Over the past ten years, Play Like a Champion has served over 84,000 coaches and parents through a network of 160 trained-trainers in over 50 cities throughout the United States. Play Like a Champion moves beyond the X’s and O’s of coaching to address the core elements of effective coaching: 1) motivation, 2) team-building, 3) leadership. Scientifically-based and ethically-directed, Play Like a Champion designs its educational programs to promote children’s physical, social and moral development to last a lifetime. SportsLeader is a Catholic virtue-based formation program for Coaches and Directors of Sports Ministry of all levels: Grade School, High School and College. Our four pillars are: Virtue, Mentoring, Ceremony and Catholic Identity. It is for schools and teams who are interested in a structured, intentional and specific method and curriculum to help form leaders and teach virtue. It is flexible, easy to implement and is designed for the coach to integrate into their practice schedule.
